According to the data of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), new automobile sales in the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) increased by 7.9 percent in September compared to the same month of the previous year, and rose to 1 million 49 thousand 926 units.
Looking at the EU alone, automobile sales increased by 9.6 percent. Automobile sales increased in Spain, Italy, Germany and France, which constitute the four largest automobile markets in the EU.
